The Kilivu number system is based upon fifteen, thus Oul’Zul is nineteen, Oul’Rul is sixteen, and so on. To make it clear that you are on the second Oul, or thirty, you would use Kul’Oul. To say thirty-five, you would use Kul’Oul’Wul. The continuation of the system is as follows:
Ten – Oul
Hundred – Voul
Thousand – Koul
Million – Roul
Billion – Moul
Quadrillion – Koul
Note that these are not literal translations..The numbers are not equilivant, but the name shows in English the places of the numbers.
For further explanation, Voul is placed in the hundreds place, but in fact means Oul’Oul, or fifteen fifteens, just like ten tens make hundred. The same is true for the rest of the system.
The Kilivu word for Number is Oul'Andur. This is one of the few none literal translations in their language.
